History and Foundation

Created in 2004, Shokoufehaye Baluchestan Charity was established to serve the people of Baluchestan by offering services in the educational, recreational, and health care sectors.

Manda Karimian Farzin was the visionary founder of the charity. She had no familial or ancestral ties with this remote and underserved area of Iran, but she fell in love with the people and the culture during a road trip around the country. It didn’t take long before she became deeply involved with their community. What started with dental hygiene promotion missions ended up developing into Shokoofeha charity. 

Her husband Abas Farzin has been an avid supporter of the charity since the beginning; and their beloved friend Hamidollah Sardarzehi and his family, have also played a pivotal role in the continued progress of the charity.

Constitution

Our constitution can be summarized as follows:

• Helping the youth of Baluchestan through the establishment of schools that are equipped with appropriate educational tools and the power to offer health services.

• Helping the Baluchi women by offering educational services aimed at promoting literacy, and enhancing their general level of knowledge, with a focus on health and nutrition.

• Helping the Baluchi society by promoting regional and ethnic arts and crafts through workshops and educational programs.

Previous Projects

Mir Yousef Entezari Co-Ed Eelementary School

Established in 2005, the school has 3 classrooms and a library, with 3 teachers that serve nearly 80 students.

Manda karimian Farzin all-girls junior high/high school

Established in 2007, the school has 3 classrooms and a library, with 9 teachers that serve nearly 200 students.

Parvin Farzin(Homabakht) Co-Ed Eelementary School

Established in 2008, the school has 3 classrooms and a library, with 3 teachers that serve nearly 70 students.

Mohammad Taghi Jozi Co-Ed Eelementary School

Established in 2011, the school has 5 classrooms and a library, with 7 teachers that serve nearly 176 students.
